Welcome to Chetaldo Foundation
A Home of Love - We Abandon No One
Founded on May 10th, 2022 by Miss Chetai M. Chikavhu, the Chetaldo Foundation was born from a place of deep compassion and personal experience. After serving as a caregiver to Mrs. Jennifer Anne Solomon, Miss Chikavhu discovered that caregiving wasn’t just a duty - it was her life’s calling. This heartfelt journey inspired her to establish a foundation dedicated to advocating for the elderly and vulnerable in our communities. At Chetaldo Foundation, we believe every elderly person deserves dignity, comfort, and love. We work tirelessly to ensure they receive the basic necessities, emotional support, and professional care they need to live fulfilling lives. From training caregivers and providing in-home support to establishing a dedicated care centre for frail elderly individuals, our vision is one of empowerment, restoration, and community growth. Our mission is rooted in service - not in self-gain, but in uplifting the less privileged, creating jobs for the youth, and rehabilitating those living on the streets. One of our most ambitious goals is to open a comprehensive care centre - a place of refuge, healing, and hope. With open hands and open hearts, we are here to serve. Whether it’s through counselling families, providing 24/7 care for the critically ill, or simply being a voice for the voiceless, the Chetaldo Foundation stands as a beacon of love, dignity, and hope.Together, we will build a future where no one is left behind.
We choose to see the need and the good bringing hope where its needed most.
We choose to act turning concern into compassionate community impact.
We choose to listen giving every voice the value it deserves.
We choose to spread love, touching lives with kindness and care.
Born in 1990 and raised in a poverty-stricken environment by a single mother, Miss Chetai M. Chikavhu grew up with a heart full of compassion and a dream far greater than her circumstances. Even as a child, she stood out - kind, bubbly, and selfless, often sharing the little she had with others. Her vision was clear from an early age: to one day establish a non-profit organization that would bring comfort, hope, and dignity to those in need. That dream found its true direction in 2019, when Chetai became a caregiver to Mrs. Jennifer Solomons during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Walking through hardship and vulnerability with Jennie ignited a deep calling within her - a passion to become a champion for the elderly and a voice for the forgotten.Today, as the founder of the Chetaldo Foundation, Miss Chikavhu pours her unwavering dedication into creating safe, joyful, and supportive spaces for the elderly, the homeless, and underserved women and youth. Her life’s mission is simple yet powerful: to make life a little easier and more beautiful for the next person.
Every day, countless elderly and homeless people struggle to meet their basic needs. With your support, our foundation provides food, shelter, medical care, and a sense of dignity to those who need it most.
